This page describes **Minecraft 1.21.1**. The incomplete [26.3 beta](Installation) currently supports selected authored terrain, biome, and generation features only; its [beta guide](https://git.paddedcell.org/dnorberg/rivencraft/src/branch/main/ports/mc263/README.md) lists supported combinations. Its grammar recovery and instability systems are not yet ported.
Rivencraft's **Symbol Pages** describe an Age. Put a Link Panel first, then add Pages to a Notebook or the Book Binder in the order you want them read. A Link-Panel-only book needs no Symbols and chooses seeded random traits. Rivencraft's **Symbol Pages** describe an Age.
